What data we process and for what purpose

This website is static and does not create user accounts or profiles. We process personal data in one case only: when you write to us through the contact form or by email.

In that case we process your name, company, email address, telephone number (if you provide it) and the content of your message, for a single purpose: answering your enquiry and maintaining the commercial or technical communication arising from it.

Processing is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the acceptance box before submitting the form, and on the legitimate interest in replying to communications addressed to the company.

Retention period

We keep messages for as long as necessary to deal with the enquiry and, if it leads to a commercial relationship, for the periods required by applicable commercial and tax legislation. They are deleted thereafter.

Recipients

SILECMAR, S.L. is part of Grupo Arbulu, and your data may be communicated to the other companies in the group. In addition, in accordance with current legislation or with the contractual relationship you hold with the company, your data may be communicated to banks and financial institutions, for the collection of contracted services or purchased products, and to public authorities with competence in the company’s sectors of activity, where the applicable rules so provide.

Beyond those cases we do not disclose your data to third parties. The providers involved in submitting the form and hosting the site act as data processors.

Form messages are delivered through Brevo (Sendinblue, France) and the site is hosted by DigitalOcean.

To stop automated form submissions, the contact page uses Cloudflare Turnstile. When you open it, your browser contacts Cloudflare, which receives your IP address and technical request data for the sole purpose of telling people apart from programs. It sets no tracking cookies and does not identify you, and it runs only on the contact page.

Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, portability and the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing, by writing to [email protected] or to the Data Protection Officer ([email protected]), stating the right you are exercising. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Security

The site is served entirely over HTTPS. We do not store received messages in the content management system or in the site repository.
